12. WHERE TO GO FOR HELP

As mentioned throughout this site, you have many New Canaan resources to draw upon during emergencies and upon the beginning of a pandemic period.

  • For any emergency, call: 911
  • For non-emergency communications with police, call: New Canaan Police at 594-3500
  • For questions about information in this site, call: New Canaan Red Cross at 966-1663

As emergency conditions warrant, the Emergency Operations Center will be activated. Multiple phone lines will be available and will be published in this site and on the Town site, for use during such conditions.

If a pandemic period begins, an additional Flu Help Desk will be established to handle your questions and direct your inquiries as needed. Numbers to call will be published in this site and the Town site, accordingly

For a copy of the "Flu Flyer" summarizing information in this site, click here. Pre-printed copies are available from New Canaan Red Cross, 966-1663.
